During World War Two, Coleshill House was the home of the British Resistance - Winston Churchill's secret auxiliary units - a secret network of volunteer men and women prepared to be Britain's last ditch of defence during the war.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the units, the Halfpenny Brewery and Old Forge brewed a new ale - Auxilier.
